Default 4L80 Transmission Wiring for Dakota Digital Speedo Converter

For the transmission end I took the three wire speed sensor plug from the stock Toyota auto. It has a Blue wire with Red stripe, a yellow wire, and a red wire.

The yellow wire is unused.

Both of the other wires need to be hooked up to the speed sensor at the back of the 4L80. It does not matter the order of the wires.

From this point I went to the body plugs near the ECU. The plug is listed as as II1 in the FSM. Just search for the Blue wire with red stripe. Cut this wire. Keep in mind to have enough room on both ends to solder or crimp some additional wire onto each end.

Take the wire that goes into the body plug and this goes to OUTPUT #4. The wire that goes into the harness and out through the firewall goes to the input.

As for the dip switches 1,2 and 4 are down. #3 is up (Closest to the numbers)
