Default Rewire: Fog Lights Anytime Except Key Off

There is a color difference in wires between the 93.5-96 and the 97-98 supra.

I am going to describe the procedure using the correct technical terms (corresponding to Toyota electrical wiring diagrams
) of connectors and wires so please refer to the chart below for wire colors.

93.5-96

Connector "C13"
Pin #7 and pin #3 = "R-G" red with green stripe
Pin #11 = "W-B" white with black stripe

Junction Block "J/B2"
EFI main relay Pin "#1" = "GR" Grey
Fog light Relay pin "#1" = "R-B" Red with Black stripe

97-98
Connector "C13"
Pin #7 and pin #3 = "BR" Brown
pin #11 = W-B

Junction Block "J/B2"
EFI main relay Pin #1 = "B-Y" Black with yellow stripe
Fog Light Relay Pin #1 = "R-B"

Ok, now if your smart enough to understand this your smart enough to do it.

Part one

Access connector "C13" located under steering column (the one towards the left side of the car), unplug it. Now, the wire from pin #3 loops to pin #7 it is about 5 inches long just pull on both ends to remove it from the wiring cover, once accesed remove pin "#3" from the connector "C13" or cut the wire close to connector. You only have pin #7 from the connector (C13) now. Attach this to pin#11" of connector "C13" with a scotch lock or solder it whatever you like.
Reassemble. Thats it for that part.

Part two

Open the hood and pop the cover off the main fuse box "Junction Block #2 (J/B2) remove the two hold down bolts and connection "2A" the main power wire under the red box. Pull up the box and take a look underneath. Remove the White protection cover. Now locate the fog light relay wire Pin "1" the thin one. Cut it a bit away from the relay, and cap off the side going into the harness. Locate the EFI main relay find pin "1" once again the thin wire" attach the wire coming from Fog Light Relay Pin #1 to EFI Main Relay pin #1 with a scotch lock or solder, whichever.
Reassemble.

Thats it. Now the fog lights can be switched on at anytime with the key on and Automatically turn off when the ignition is switched off. You will notice that when you turn the key off or the turbo timer turns off, the fog lights will stay on for a secound this is because the "M-REL" signal from the computer to the relays has a time delay on it.
