Default Hallo

Some of you know me from SF, and since I finally got my mk2 down here, I figured I would register and post up here.

For those who don't know me... I've been on supraforums since 2001, when I got my 1st Supra, I've had 9 since then, all mk2s.

This last car I got in Washington state, for free, in September of 2007. It was neglected and beat, the auto transmission was slipping bad and reverse was completely gone. I started building a 6MGE for it, JDM 3.0 liter, and I installed that as well as a 5 speed in April 2008. For personal reasons, I left Washington and came back to Florida last August and had to leave my car there. I recently just flew back and drove her home

Some pics...

Performance upgrades:
Rebuilt 6MGE block
Rotating assembly fully balanced
Bored .030" over with high compression pistons
HKS 1.2mm metal head gasket
ARP head studs
Rare TRUST header, ceramic coated & modified with wideband O2 bung
RabidChimp 2.5" Collector
HKS 2.5" midpipe
Magnaflow muffler
RabidChimp ceramic coated intake
RabidChimp CAI
NGK spark plug wires
6MGE intake manifold
6MGE M/T ECU
Aristo fuel pump

Exterior Modifications:
JDM rear marker vents modified with lights
DJs custom clear turn signals
Tinted tail lights
Tinted nose badge & B pillar badges
JDM 3.0 TwinCam badge from MZ12 Soarer

Car still needs a ton of work, last of all to be body work and paint. She is go before show. Goal is high 13s with no boost or nitrous.

Weighs 2713lbs currently, with most of the interior intact (missing heater core and under dash vents).

Needs to be dyno'd again, since the powerband has increased tremendously as I was forced to hollow out the catalytic converter at a Shell gas station a few days ago north of Tampa. Could only see a pinhole of light through it.

Recently ran a 4,000 mile trek across the country, only issues being a burst coolant hose and clogged cat. Although I did dump the gas tank in a parking lot and change out the noisy Walbro fuel pump with an Aristo fuel pump given to me by Satan in Dallas.

Oops, I'm in Naples. Probably won't make it, since the trip cost over $500 in gas and I have to buy a $175 crank pulley to get rid of belt squeal, so I am broke for awhile. I WILL try to make other meets as funds allow

Hahaha yeah!

Sorry, my camera sucks... broken L16 Nikon FTL . So the pics are pretty horrible, but whatever...

Cruising with friend in the SoCal canyon

Getting into Arizona at sunrise

Car needed breakfast

Tuscon, AZ

Hanging out with a friend in Phoenix, beautiful 1JZ MK3

Back on the road

Somewhere in New Mexico

My 1st Texas sunset, right outside of El Paso

At my friend's house in Ft. Worth, TX (his brother's black '84)

Trying to figure out the issues at a friend's house near Dallas. I got an Aristo fuel pump and it was awesome chilling next to a black mk3, and black mk4, both with clear turns. We were all destined to meet

ISC valve hose parking lot repair

Louisianna

Louisianna sunset

Mississippi @ a friend's house. He washed and waxed my car while I got washed up

Mobile, Alabama

Outside friend's shop in Pensacola, Florida.

Outside of Tampa, car started acting funny again, I stopped and saw the Y pipe before the cat was yellow and black. So I took the cat off in a parking lot and smashed the hell out of it with my 3/8" and 1/2" ratchets, LOL

Home!

That's bad ass to encounter so many great picture spots and be able to stop and take shots wherever.
