Default SS braided line

Started my car this morning, left it to warm up, came back to the garage to find fuel on the floor. Found that it was my fuel line leaking from a spot in the middle of nowhere. Turned the key on to get pressure and start testing the line and found two pinholes. Could braided lines get damaged, or was it shipped that way? BTW, there was no scrape or visible damage to that area, just when I bent the line it started spraying fuel from two little holes. If it was shipped that way, why is it just now leaking? Ever happen to anyone?

Wow that sucks man.. Where did you get it from? They might be able to replace the length of line for you hopefully. It shouldn't go bad out of nowhere.

Summit. Thought maybe I hit something and split the line, but where the holes were located it's a one in a million shot. Contacting Summit tomorrow.

Most stainless steel braided lines are only stainless on the outside and rubber on the inside, or sometimes I have seen neoprene. It could be dry rotted.
