Will the tems system out of a 86.5 work in a 91? A friend of mine is parting out his 86.5 and letting me get the tems for really cheap I just want to make sure it will work in my 91. I've already looked and mine has all the wires for it. I know they changed the wiring and a few other things around in 89 so I before I get them and feel like a ass cause they wont work I want to make sure. I know it wont work with my struts/shocks but if they do work I'm gonna pick up some Tokico Illuma and new springs to go with them.

yes they should work fine. i dont believe the wires for the tems were changed in the 89+ change.

yeah the TEMS system never really changed in the MK3 through all the years. If anything, I would highly recommend taking the TEMS harness with it as well so you don't have to go through any issues later.
