Here is an extreme case where ALL 8 injectors were stuck closed. Customer just finished swapping an LT1 engine into another chassis and was not getting fuel. Checked fuel pump and wiring, everything was functioning.
Here is when I received the injectors:
Put them on the ASNU flow bench and
NONE of them were firing!
As always, if I cannot repair your injectors you DO NOT pay.
I put the injectors on the ultrasonic cleaning tank and within 10 minutes ALL of the injectors were pulsing and began the internal cleaning process.
Injector 1 was put back on the ultrasonic cleaner for another 10 minutes and ALL injectors flowed within 1% of each other and to spec.
All injector O rings and filters were replaced.
